Engaging, empowering, energising culture in Exeter

National Youth Film Agency will be holding interviews in Exeter for its popular Introductory Film Course for young people aged 16-25

Date: Sunday 11 February 2018
Time: Prebookable slots of 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm
Venue: Jury’s Inn, Western Way, Exeter, EX1 2DB

The National Youth Film Academy was founded in 2011 and is dedicated to giving young people the best possible opportunity to succeed in the film industry.

In the New Year the NYFA will be holding interviews across the UK for its popular Introductory Course, which is aimed at young people aged 16-25 who want to break into the film industry. The next course will take place during the summer.

As part of the course participants are given ten days to train in their chosen field, learn from respected industry professionals and meet with like-minded individuals to write and produce their own short film. The films are then screened in front of their peers, friends and family at a local cinema.

Participants are assessed on their talent, enthusiasm and professionalism, with the very best invited to become full members of the National Youth Film Academy.

The organisation offers representation through a feeder agency for its actors and access to exciting job opportunities for its filmmaking members.

Talent scouts from the NYFA will be in Exeter on Sunday 11 February 2018 and those interested in applying should first register their details at nyfa.org.uk/apply

Interviews and auditions are available on a booking-only basis. Due to the popularity of the course, applicants cannot just turn up on the day.

For more information visit nyfa.org.uk or call 0191 490 9116.
