Launch of new taxidermy art exhibition: 'Dead on Arrival'


DEAD ON ARRIVAL - the curious world of human and animal craft 

Exhibition: 23 September - 5 November 2017

Disclaimer: The show includes only works with animals that have died of natural causes or as a result of accidental road casualty.

Dead on Arrival showcases 10 artists whose practice involves the use of ethically sourced animal remains to produce works of jewellery, sculpture, textiles and photography. Materials from nature such as bones, feathers, teeth and fur have been painstakingly amalgamated and crafted into hybrid creatures, mandalas and wearable pieces for adornment.

Exhibition is free entry and open daily 10am-5.30pm. Children’s gallery activity area: DIY Make a Mini Mutant Monster!
