Are you making music or sound art in or around Exeter?
If so, you are invited to start a conversation about music and sound art in our city.
What are your thoughts on venues, artist support and development, audiences, funding, concerts, opportunities etc? This event is an opportunity for people making music and sound arts around the city to come together and talk. It should provide an open and inclusive environment for people to share our experiences of being musicians and sound artists in Exeter and discuss the support that we might benefit from. Please bring along your ideas and suggestions for collaborative working, potential developments and positive outcomes. If the will is there, this could become a regular event. The Forum will be shaped by the people who come.
Aims for the forum:
- Opportunity to discuss issues around music and sound art in the city
- Provide networking opportunities
- Provide a voice for music and sound art in Exeter.
The first forum will include Stuart Crewes talking about the setting up and journey of the Exeter Visual Arts Forum and the Exeter Cultural Partnership.
