Engaging, empowering, energising culture in Exeter

MASH – with SoDA - a workshop in which you can learn new digital skills to help your arts practice develop in innovative ways!

Friday 6 October, 2 - 4pm

Exeter Library

Castle Street

Exeter

EX4 3PQ

This digital arts workshop is suitable for creative beginners and digital experts alike.  Bring your own laptop and charger.

As part of the Lost Weekend festival, University of Exeter Arts and Culture and BAFTA winning arts agency SoDA will be demonstrating MASH, an ambient digital artwork that dynamically montages live text and image feeds onto public screens. Under the guidance of leading digital artist Fiddian Warman of SoDA, use the easy to learn programming environment IFTTT to start to control content feeds and experiment with interactive triggers to change how content is displayed. IFTTT is a great tool for arts projects and this workshop provides a good opportunity to find out more about it.

Tickets £3 plus booking fee. Age: Over 16s
