Arts Council England has announced investment through its National Portfolio for 2018-22. This includes 8 arts and cultural organisations based in Exeter that will together receive over £6.3 million in funding over four years. The 8 organisations are Arts & Health South West, Bike Shed Theatre, Exeter Northcott Theatre, Exeter Phoenix, Kaleider, Libraries Unlimited, Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) and Theatre Alibi.
Major changes include Libraries Unlimited which joins the portfolio, with 57 libraries across Devon being supported; a significant increase in funding for RAMM to develop its contemporary arts programme; and capital investment for Exeter Phoenix.
