Engaging, empowering, energising culture in Exeter

The AWEsome Art Space

Art Week Exeter CIC has a pop-up gallery for the six months from December 2017, up to and including AWE in 2018 (22–28 May). The space, at 27 Paris Street, is for AWE's registered artists to develop, run and exhibit work in the city centre.

We are currently looking for volunteers who would like to be involved in running and stewarding this space.
Please register your interest >here<. You can also communicate with Robyn, our Volunteer Manager via engage.artweekexeter@gmail.com

Our immediate need is for the hang and running of an exhibition for the Christmas period.
We will be hanging the show on Wednesday 13th December.
The Gallery space will be open from 5pm-9pm on Thursdays: 14th, 21st; and from 11am - 6pm on Wednesday 20th, Fridays and Saturdays: 15th, 16th, 22nd & 23rd.

We will be running a rota and posting when other activities are taking place in the space during the following months.

Our intention with this space is to offer artists somewhere where there is no charge to book, exhibit work, run workshops or discussion groups, nor is there any commission on sales. It is a curated space and we'll be working with artists to ensure a high level of quality for any activity.
Any registered AWE artist with an idea, a project or a body of work that  would like to use the space, should please get in touch: info@artweekexeter.org.uk
