Entanglements and Interventions: Exploring the Digital World through Art

On May 27 2015, Exeter PhD candidate and digital artist Richard Carter will be presenting examples of his latest art work and conducting a talk on the thinking behind their creation. Richard's creative practice involves computer encoding written messages into intricate visual patterns, producing images that explore the structures and processes underpinning our contemporary digital environment.

Kickstarter launching 21 May

Next Thursday 21 May Spacex will be launching their Kickstarter – an online fundraising campaign – to raise £10,000 towards two artist residencies and a series of public events. Enabling the artistic process remains at the core of what Spacex does and they need our support in order to continue this work.

Kick started! :)

Hello all and sundry! :D

I currently have a kickstarter running to raise funds to create a body of work for a series of pop up shows (1st one will be in Exeter on the 6th June which of course you're invited to! - more details on that nearer the time). 

If you have a couple of quid rolling around down the side of the sofa and feel like supporting me then i'd be over the moon as this would help this starving artist massively. My target is quite low so i hope…
