Calling all artists! Have you got a great project for Art Week Exeter 2017 that needs a bit of funding? AWE presents Art SOUP – the fun way to get sponsored!

If you just want to come along for a fun evening and to help support some art projects, please book a place on the AWE website. Space is limited, and we need to know how much soup to make! You pay £5 on the door and get a bowl of soup, a pompom to vote with, and a fantastic evening of fun. This special Art SOUP will also be followed with a disco, so bring your dancing shoes if you want to stay and party.
Four artists (or groups of artists) each have five minutes to pitch their idea to the audience. The audience have paid £5 for the chance to vote and a bowl of soup. They listen to the pitches, think about it over a lovely vegetarian supper, and then cast an anonymous vote for their favourite idea. The project with the mostvotes wins all the money.

Want to pitch an idea?
Email comms@artweekexeter.org.uk with a short paragraph about your project. If we get more than four projects, we will choose a range to make sure it’s a fun and interesting evening for everyone with lots of variety. Remember that you are trying to convince a varied audience (all ages; all backgrounds) that your project is worth funding.

Exeter SOUP, Wednesday 30 November, 6pm
St Sidwell’s Centre, Sidwell Street, Exeter

Phonic.FM would welcome the opportunity to expand the work that it undertook last year in support of AWE. We're looking for three more artists who would be prepared to share two pieces of work on our website (www.phonic.fm) and then talk about the painting live on-air and inviting participation from listeners. Last year's work with Thorie Hinds was enormously successful, and we've already booked James Tatum for the next event. Artists working in any medium are invited to express interest at info@phonic.fm
